Slow Stitch Fabric Clusters

Slow stitching is perfect for rainy or cool weather projects as it requires little planning, materials or tools to get started. Grab a little basket of fabric and thread scraps, a needle and a pair of scissors and make a few in no time.

Fringed, frayed and layered fabric scrap embellishment clusters are a natural complement to fall. Use them to decorate a journal, a bag, a notecard or pop them on a coin envelope for a boho styled gift card holder.

You can sew them together to make larger fabric collage pieces. Even add your own Holly Hobbie style patch to worn out jeans, sweaters or a favorite hat. There are endless ways to turn scrap fabric into something special.

Happy paper crafting!
