Simple Circle Embellishments

The endless places you can tuck these simple layered circle embellishments is just as much fun as making them! Whether tiny or large, they can dress up a page, or transform a bag with a pretty decorative topper. Slip them onto the edge of a page, card, pocket, or envelope. Add sprigs, leaves, fishtails, banners, words, lace, or a little bling to make each one your own.

Use a set of graduated punches, or mix and match circles and scallops. The basic design is so simple, just two layers folded in half and glued together. Place your flower on the base wherever you think it looks best, then tuck it onto an edge to show a sweet little flower peeking out.

Repeat the idea with larger circles or doily dies to create toppers for bags of any size. They can be customized for any holiday, season, or theme. Add extra flowers, leaves, words, or other embellishments to fill the larger space and create a more elaborate decoration.

This is a fun scrap-busting project, and once you make a bunch, you’ll always have a few on hand to quickly add a little extra interest to your paper projects, craft fair products

Happy paper crafting!
