Sending Smiles

Another year approaches

I’ve been missing in action. I’ve taken off almost an entire month. Not due to anything in particular except mental burn out and holiday busy-ness.

I finally cleared my craft room of the rest of the Christmas papers and crafts, rearranged a few things and that seemed to clear the cobwebs slightly.

I did get a few new things for Christmas and I finally sat down to try them out on an uncluttered table. Boy, if you could’ve seen the elf like mess from die cutting, wrapping, glue, glitter, paint etc. And of course scraps galore.

I barely knew where to start but I chose some hearts to get in the mood for Valentine’s Day, they are new die cuts, gracing a new embossing folder. Thanks dear! I know I will get a lot of use out of this one. I was going to use gesso but opted for some metallic pearl. I had the kraft already cut and wanted to get the scraps off my table. I’ll keep it for the right occasion.

My Christmas was lovely and I hope yours was too. A few more days relaxing with family and back to work soon.

I hope these romantic roses will inspire you to get in the pink for Valentine’s Day.
